Player of the Week for August 16, 2011
Sami Severson (Sportsman 1)
Sami had her first three-win night since last December, running her winning streak to five games, and propelling Sportsman to a 13-2 victory in Carpinteria.
Honorable Mention(s):
Leana Finley / John Bushnell (Sportsman 1)
Leana and John joined teammate Sami in the three-win club.   Bushnell's winning streak now stands at nine games.   John has moved up from 22nd to 12th place in the process.
Mario Reyes (Moose Lodge 1)
"Super Mario" maintained his death-grip on 2nd place in 'A' Division, winning three more games, and helping Moose Lodge 1 end a three-match losing streak.
Brent Boone (Don Q's 4)
Brent scored his league-leading eighth table run to go along with his three wins, extending his 'A' Division lead to 45 points over Super Mario.
Chris Smith (Cliff Room 3)
Chris's second straight three-win night moved him to the top of his (very crowded) team standings.   Only 30 points separates all five Cliff Room players.
Ismael Huerta / Rigo Morales (Cliff Room 2)
Both Ismael and Rigo had 35-point nights (three-wins with one table run).   The two sit in 2nd and 3rd place in 'B' Division, respectively.
Albert Covarrubias (Don Q's 2)
After starting the season on fire (10-1), Albert cooled off a bit, going 8-8, but he picked up his game Tuesday with three wins at home against Brewco 2.
Ian Cox (Brewco Lounge 2)
Ian scored half of Brewco's six game wins to up his winning streak to six games.   After a dismal 3-7 start, Ian has gone 17-3 and has climbed all the way into the top-10 in 'B' Division.
George Guerrero (Break Time 2)
Super-sub George was perfect yet again.   George is 6-0 in his two sub appearances.
Derrick Craig / Anthony Saenz (Sportsman 2)
Derrick and Anthony combined for six wins to solidify a Sportsman team that was missing two of its players.
