Players of the Week for June 21, 2022
Jim Steele (Break Time Warriors)
and Pat Hanlon (Break Time Kingsmen)
Jim went 5-0 in the championship match and won the deciding game to help power the Warriors to their first league title.   Steele's steady play helped The Warriors come from behind and beat the Don Q's Knights 13-11.   After winning his first two matches, Hanlon was sent to the loser's side of the Best-of-the-Rest Tourney bracket by Steve Myers.   That was no problem for Pat, who won his next seven matches to win his first league tournament.   Pat earned $150 and a ticket to the All-Star Tourney.

Honorable Mention(s):

Van Riker (Break Time Tyrants)
Van finished in 2nd place in the Best-of-the-Rest Tourney and qualified for the All-Star tourney.   He lost to only one person, champion Pat Hanlon.

Matt Carr (Don Q's Sharks)
Over his last 20 games of the season, Matt averaged a stellar 10.25 points per game; just enough to secure his first ever division title.   In the final match of the season, the 'A' Division title came down to a single game between Carr and Brandon Teris; winner takes the crown.   Matt broke and ran the game.

Steve Myers (Don Q's 1)
With his nice 3rd place finish in the Best-of-the-Rest Tourney, Steve joined his four teammates in the All-Star tourney.   The previous night, Myers won the hill-hill game in the 3rd place consolation match of the Team Playoffs to defeat reigning champion Moose Lodge 2.
