Players of the Week for April 14, 2015
Rachel Johnson (SpoNugz)
and Terri Bentzinger (Don Q's Badgers)
In rounds 1 and 2 of the team playoffs, Rachel won 5 of 6 games and took all three from the powerful Moose Lodge 2 squad.   Johnson's third win against the Mafia gave Sportsman the upset victory.   Terri was rock solid in the Badgers meeting with the Fab 5.   She opened with two wins and was instrumental in the Badger's come-from-behind upset victory.

Honorable Mention(s):

Harry Peltz / Jaime Hernandez (Break Time 1)
Harry and Jaime won all nine games they played over two matches, and their five combined wins were key as Break Time knocked off favored Moose Lodge 3.

Ed Drayton (Don Q's 1)
Don Q's needed all three of Ed's wins as Monty's 1 pushed them to the limit in round 2.

Bob McLean / Brandon Teris (Sportsman 1)
Bob opened with a break-and-run, Brandon had a table run, and Sportsman jumped all over Carp & Linden Pub 1.

Laura Craig (Old Town Tavern)
Laura won both of her games and Old Town made a good showing against the Nuggets.

Jon Hernandez / Peter Garcia (Break Time Bandits)
Hernandez opened with a break 'n run, and when Uptown threatened in the second frame, Peter's table run got the Bandits back on track to advance to the quarterfinals.

Jorge Guerrero / Brian Purrington (Monty's 1)
Jorge and Brian both went 4 for 5 in their two matches as Monty's fell one game short of moving forward in the playoffs.

Sergio Garcia (Mel's Cartel)
Sergio's third win of the night put the Cartel on the hill with four games remaining.   Unfortunately for Mel's, Uptown swept the rest.

Ed Guzman (Moose Lodge 1)
Guzman won all five of his games, but the other Moose got devoured by the Dragons.

Steve Myers (Break Time 3)
Steve went 3-for-3 against Cliff Room in a heartbreaking 8-7 loss for Break Time.
